Haverhill Spartans Football

Youth football in Haverhill, Massachusetts was founded by the late Walter Kimball, Director of the Haverhill Y.M.C.A. The purpose of the former Y.M.C.A. Junior Football League was to provide an activity for the youth of Greater Haverhill that would establish a sound learning environment in an attempt to emphasize the characteristics and virtues that are vital in rearing our children. The Haverhill Spartans is committed to motivating youth regardless of gender, race, creed, sexual orientation or national origin to practice the ideals of integrity, sportsmanship, respect, and loyalty in a supervised safety oriented program. It is the intent of the Haverhill Spartans to unite youth by a means of having a common interest in fair play and camaraderie, while striving to teach each participant the fundamentals of football and cheer in order to enhance the above objectives. The Haverhill Spartans are committed to continuing the tradition of youth football in Haverhill, while serving as a source of support for our high school athletic program.
